Security Enhancements for Online Banking
MultiFactor Authentication (MFA)
We are committed to helping you keep your accounts and information safe. That is why we are adding Multifactor Authentication to our Online Banking Platform.
What is Multifactor Authentication?
Multifactor authentication (MFA) is a layer of security designed to verify your identity and prevent unauthorized account access.
When you log into Home Banking, the new MFA security system will ask you to enter a short, one-time passcode that will be sent to your mobile phone. Entering this passcode will allow you to complete the login process.
Receiving MFA Passcodes
You can choose whether you’d like to receive your passcode by text message or phone call.
Sample Message
- Message from Access Credit Union:
- For access to your account
- Enter ZD2GUY
What to be done to prepare for MFA?
You should log into Home Banking, review and update your mobile phone number and your email address.
